Hi,

I'm looking to get the driveway of our (ordinary, suburban semi-detached) house - and of the next-door neighbour's house - replaced; they are made of concrete and our side, in particular, is badly cracked. It is moderately steep, and needs to be safe to walk up and drive up, even after bad weather.

I'd be grateful for suggestions as to materials (and contractors) that are ecologically sound, practical, and not ridiculously expensive on this fairly small scale.

Thanks,

Paul.

Might be worth checking wih limecrete suppliers to see if this is up to the job. But might be an expensive option. Also needs to be the right time of the year as it takes longer than Concrete to go off.

Sounds like a lot of hard work. Could you try repairing it using epoxy resin concrete patching repair stuff or mix up a strong mortar with Unibond glue added to it.May not be the prettiest solution but it would not cost much and you may come up with a better solution sometime in the future.
